About This Course

This course surveys advanced and emerging drilling technologies. Participants study automation and robotics, advanced steering and measurement systems, alternative rock destruction methods, expandable and smart tubulars, downhole power and telemetry, drilling with casing and dual gradient methods, digital and autonomous systems, technology qualification and the assessment of claims and pilot results.
