This training covers computer-assisted history matching and the uncertainty workflows built around it. It works through experimental design and parameter screening, response surface and proxy model construction, optimisation algorithms and their behaviour, ensemble methods including ensemble Kalman and smoother approaches, Bayesian formulation of the matching problem, ensemble-based forecasting and the practical integration of these workflows into reservoir management.
