About This Course

This course covers drilling and well engineering for carbon capture, utilisation and storage. Participants study storage site and well requirements, carbon dioxide properties and their effects, materials and corrosion, well design and casing, cementing for carbon dioxide service, injection well completion, monitoring and verification wells, legacy well assessment, abandonment and regulatory requirements.
