This training covers carbon dioxide flooding for enhanced oil recovery. It works through CO2 properties and its interaction with reservoir oil, minimum miscibility pressure determination, displacement efficiency and sweep behaviour, WAG design, CO2 supply sourcing and recycle facilities, corrosion and materials selection, surveillance practice, the accounting of CO2 retained in the reservoir and the economics of CO2 flooding including credit mechanisms.
