About This Course

This course explains drilling operations for professionals outside the drilling discipline. Participants learn how wells are planned and drilled, what the rig and its crew do, what drilling fluids, casing, cementing and directional drilling involve, what wells cost and why, what goes wrong, and how drilling decisions affect production and reservoir work.
