It works through remaining oil saturation determination, screening criteria across chemical, gas and thermal methods, laboratory programme design, technical and economic ranking, pilot objectives and pattern configuration, surveillance and instrumentation design, pilot interpretation including its common failure modes, and the decision to proceed to full field implementation.
