About This Course

This course covers mud logging practice. Participants study the mud logging unit and its sensors, cuttings collection, preparation and description, lag calculation, gas detection and analysis, gas ratio interpretation, drilling parameter monitoring, hydrocarbon shows evaluation, log preparation and the use of mud logging data in drilling and geological decisions.
