A complete treatment of the surface facilities that turn a well stream into saleable crude. It covers phase separation, emulsion breaking, dehydration and desalting, crude stabilisation and sweetening, associated gas handling, produced water treatment and disposal, storage, metering and export. The emphasis is on how each unit works, how it is sized, and what happens to the whole train when the feed changes.
