About This Course

This course covers the design and execution of perforating operations. Participants study shaped charge behaviour, penetration and damage, gun systems and conveyance, shot density and phasing, underbalance and dynamic underbalance design, perforating for stimulation and sand control, and the evaluation of perforating performance from well data.
