About This Course

This training teaches participants to read and use the drawings and documents that define a process facility. It covers block flow diagrams, process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment and instrument symbology, line numbering and piping class, cause and effect charts, datasheets and specifications. It also covers how these documents are used in daily operations, isolation planning, HAZOP studies and management of change.
