About This Course

This course covers reservoir souring, hydrogen sulphide management and microbial control. Participants study souring mechanisms and prediction, microbial communities and monitoring, biocide and nitrate treatment, sulphate removal, hydrogen sulphide scavenging, materials and safety implications, and the design of a field souring management strategy.
