About This Course

This course covers wellbore stability and drilling geomechanics. Participants study in-situ stress, rock mechanical properties, failure mechanisms, stability modelling and safe mud weight windows, shale and chemical effects, trajectory optimisation, real-time stability monitoring, mitigation measures and stability in depleted and faulted formations.
