About This Course
This training covers decision analysis applied to subsurface and development decisions. It works through the elements of decision quality, decision framing, alternative generation, uncertainty characterisation and elicitation, decision trees and expected value calculation, value of information and value of control analysis, real options thinking, cognitive and organisational bias, and the practices that produce consistently good decisions rather than occasionally lucky outcomes.
