This comprehensive Geosteering course combines a well-structured theoretical foundation — concise, essential, and easy to grasp — with practical training using the cutting-edge StarSteer software by ROGII.
The training begins with fundamental theory, followed by the step-by-step creation of a geosteering model.
Key workflows are then introduced, including model-based and stratigraphic methods, borehole image interpretation, and bed boundary inversion — powerful StarSteer features for advanced geosteering tasks.
Finally, we reinforce these skills through practice with three dedicated geosteering simulators.
By the end of the course, participants will be capable of interpreting geological data, optimizing well placement in real time, adjusting drilling trajectories, and making confident, data-driven decisions using industry-standard geosteering technology.
