It covers fixed and floating platform types and their selection, topsides process design under weight and space constraints, subsea production systems, risers, flowlines and export pipelines, marine and structural aspects, utilities and accommodation, offshore safety and escape philosophy, integrity management, offshore operations and logistics, and decommissioning. The emphasis is on the constraints that make offshore engineering different from onshore.
