Reservoir Engineering Masterclass
Premium Workshop
For PEA Members Only
An exclusive three-day live masterclass designed for practicing petroleum engineers and reservoir specialists who want to go beyond textbook theory. Covering commercial maturity of reservoirs, environmental economics in oil & gas, and polymer flood diagnostics, this masterclass brings four decades of real field experience into your screen — in just 90 focused minutes a day. Available only to PEA Members.
Workshop Objectives
By the end of this three-day masterclass, participants will be able to:
Understand why technically sound reservoirs fail to achieve commercial reserve status — and what engineers can do about it
Evaluate the economic and regulatory implications of carbon externalities and carbon tax on oil & gas operations
Identify key field indicators to assess whether a polymer flood is performing as designed
Apply lessons from real-world case studies to their own reservoir and production challenges
Engage directly with an industry veteran with 40+ years of hands-on experience across major operators
About the Presenter
Mr. Biswajit Choudhury is a seasoned Reservoir Engineering Consultant with over 40 years of experience across some of the world's most respected oil and gas organizations, including Shell International, PDO (Petroleum Development Oman), BG Group, and Oil India Limited. A graduate of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, he has authored 12 peer-reviewed journal publications and has worked across exploration, development, and production phases in multiple global basins.
His career spans reservoir characterization, field development planning, enhanced oil recovery, and reserve estimation — giving him a uniquely integrated perspective that bridges technical rigor with commercial reality. Mr. Choudhury brings that depth directly into the classroom, making complex reservoir concepts accessible, practical, and immediately applicable.

Data Science and Applied Machine Learning for Reservoir & Production Engineering
Data Science and Applied Machine Learning for Reservoir & Production Engineering is a practical workshop designed to help petroleum professionals use data-driven methods to solve real engineering problems. The workshop focuses on how machine learning and data science can be applied to reservoir characterization, production forecasting, well performance analysis, and workflow automation in upstream operations. The workshop is built around industry-relevant use cases, with an emphasis on turning engineering data into actionable insight. Participants will learn how data science techniques can support faster analysis, improve prediction quality, and enhance decision-making in reservoir and production engineering workflows. All content in this session is copyrighted by Mr. Nashat. Access to recordings, slides, and the Excel workbook is provided exclusively through this platform. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution outside the portal is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action under applicable laws.Recordings, data sets, and certificates will be provided within one business day after the event is completed.
